Designed to accompany Holt Course 3, Chapter 4, Section 1, for 8th graders. Students will write expressions in exponential and expanded form and evaluate expressions with exponents. Evaluating algebraic expressions for a given value of the variable and rules for handling negative signs are also discussed. Created by Michelle Fontenot.
